40:37
Can you please provide a link to the DDP eligibility criteria?

42:14
Doug, Lindsey will post the link.

43:07
Here is the link to our eligibility reference manual: https://dphhs.mt.gov/assets/dsd/DDP/HomePage/EligibilityReferenceManual.pdf

44:53
Totally new to all of this... We are adopting a child from Ukraine who will be between 7-9. Are we going to be able to be eligible if say the child we adopt are on the older side? We are still not sure whom we are adopting, but I am almost positive we would want to look into this.

45:53
Cathy will be reviewing eligibility information for individuals 8 and over in just a few moments.

49:35
Yeah, I’m concerned that my 8 yr old was kicked off the waitlist. Who do I talk to?

49:58
Hey James, which region do you live in?

50:27
Missoula

53:29
Hi James, you can contact the Region 5 Office. The phone number is: 406-329-5415.

54:13
https://dphhs.mt.gov/dsd/developmentaldisabilities

55:30
What happens if the child is kicked off the list? Does the process start all over?

57:55
If someone meets or is to meetMontana’s DDp definition but services are to be defined before 18. how can employment be defined? Many adults are often being evaluated for employment and supports at 18.

58:53
Good question Shyla

59:50
Hi James- generally when someone is removed from the waitlist, they would be re-entered at the new date that their eligibility is determined. If your child is 8 right now, it's unlikely they have been removed as we have not been removing children from the waitlist due to the public health emergency. I believe Paula has reached out to you via chat and she will be able to talk with you more specifically about your situation.

01:01:01
I am keeping track of questions - we will take time to answer questions tonight, if there are questions we don't get to, we will respond to you by email.

01:01:25
We have never received any letter that said we need to update anything in order to keep him on waitlist.

01:02:18
if someone is already on the 0208 waiver, does there absolutely have to be an emeergency situation for them to get residential services? Or what is the process to expand their existing cost plan to allow for residential services?

01:08:26
What happens with children between 8 and 16?

01:10:56
I am a FSS. If I start the DDP eligibility process with a child when they are 6, and they are found to be not eligible, do they have to exit FES services immediately, or can they continue until they turn 8 and then they must exit services?

01:12:43
As Jenn said, we will make time to answer some questions. Any questions we don't get to tonight will be addressed via email. But as we near 8:00, I'd like to share the link to our survey and ask you to please fill it out at your convenience. Help us shape future PoP meetings! Thank you. https://umt.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_1XGgxD9tXZ91Eyi

01:13:48
As an FSS in Billings MT, many wait times are MONTHS out

01:16:07
Thank you, Katherine. Good for families to know.

01:16:57
Thank you everyone! Keep fighting the good fight folks! ✊🏻

01:17:10
👊

01:17:32
My son just got a 0208 waiver slot this year and is set up. Would there ever be any reason he would be taken off. He has DS.

01:18:13
We also wont have much of a history...

01:19:53
We have had some families call who have children who are over 18 but have significant disabilities and delays, how do we direct families then?

01:21:23
How do kids get off the list. Is it a need based now? It seems to change

01:25:01
My child has been on the 208 waiver for some time now and she is 22. We live on a reservation and services here are very few. Is there any plans to help those who live in the rural areas of the state to be able to access more services?

01:25:19
Lauren Simonich, the child coming to you is getting a great advocate - you. are. on it!

01:25:23
Please do that as another series.

01:26:07
We will put it on the list! Add it to your survey to remind us.

01:26:43
Agreed I would also like to hear more about additional resources

01:28:52
Thank you!

01:30:15

01:32:15
I filled out the survey but additional training on Medicaid and how to not jeopardize eligibility was not an option.

01:32:26
Very Thankful for your time and helping to give our families this opportunity

01:32:26
thank you!
