Totally new to all of this... We are adopting a child from Ukraine who will be between 7-9. Are we going to be able to be eligible if say the child we adopt are on the older side? We are still not sure whom we are adopting, but I am almost positive we would want to look into this.

What happens if the child is kicked off the list? Does the process start all over?

If someone meets or is to meetMontana’s DDp definition but services are to be defined before 18. how can employment be defined? Many adults are often being evaluated for employment and supports at 18.

Hi James- generally when someone is removed from the waitlist, they would be re-entered at the new date that their eligibility is determined. If your child is 8 right now, it's unlikely they have been removed as we have not been removing children from the waitlist due to the public health emergency. I believe Paula has reached out to you via chat and she will be able to talk with you more specifically about your situation.

We have never received any letter that said we need to update anything in order to keep him on waitlist.

if someone is already on the 0208 waiver, does there absolutely have to be an emeergency situation for them to get residential services? Or what is the process to expand their existing cost plan to allow for residential services?

What happens with children between 8 and 16?

I am a FSS. If I start the DDP eligibility process with a child when they are 6, and they are found to be not eligible, do they have to exit FES services immediately, or can they continue until they turn 8 and then they must exit services?

My son just got a 0208 waiver slot this year and is set up. Would there ever be any reason he would be taken off. He has DS.

We also wont have much of a history...

We have had some families call who have children who are over 18 but have significant disabilities and delays, how do we direct families then?

How do kids get off the list. Is it a need based now? It seems to change

My child has been on the 208 waiver for some time now and she is 22. We live on a reservation and services here are very few. Is there any plans to help those who live in the rural areas of the state to be able to access more services?
